Formerly the family home of local Berber grocers, Dar Tiflet’s Alpine-sounding name (we’re from Grenoble, and we love the simplicity and conviviality of tartiflette) invites you to enjoy a warm, authentic experience as you embark on your new life here.
Rooms
Each room has remained traditional, with the main decorations of the Berber family, in particular in the choice of zelliges (cement tiles) on the floor and walls. We have added a small bathroom (shower + toilet) to each of the rooms. Like all riads, each room has at least one window, small or larger, opening onto the interior patio. One bedroom (the yellow bedroom) has 2 windows opening onto the exterior facade. All the furniture has been made in the medina by local crafts, as well as the carpets and the wool bedspreads.
Services & Experiences
The Riad Dar Tiflet offers the services we expect from a family home: we accompany you from the airport or the train station, you have the freedom to have breakfast or not, you have a constant presence to assist you, we keep your luggage during your excursions, and you can even wash your laundry with your family!
We bring you up-to-date advice on excursion partners, car rentals, etc. Marc and Patrice have 20 years of love for Morocco, especially for the South, Yassine and Mohamed know by heart the best addresses in the medina at the best price. These tips are supplemented with information to be found on our free WIFI network.
Dar Tiflet has stopped catering because we benefit from an area with a lot of offers, from snacks to semi-gourmet restaurants to discover on foot. We can help you choose with their menus and book for you.
Finally, to refresh ourselves, we will soon open the BarTiflet, non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy the end of the day.
